playing in the sand…

playing out in the sand-box with daddy & mikayla…

after dinner sophia & i came back out to play for a bit before her bath…

the sun is so beautiful at that time of the evening in our back-yard…

she is loving her sand-box again, now that it isn’t like the sahara desert back there…

she loves her sand-box but as you can see she doesn’t like sitting inside of it, she still sits right outside of it & plays from there & here she is a little annoyed that she has sand on her legs. right after i took this picture she stood up & ran over to me & “asked” me to get it off of her…

we know that she is going to be forming actual words very soon. just in the past week even she has really begun communicating what she wants & needs & i don’t know how but i seem to always know what she is saying. maybe it is a maternal thing or maybe it is just because we are always together, i don’t know but i love that she is able to communicate more & more every-day. now that she is, it is completely clear how well she knows & likes her schedule. after we finish one thing she knows what comes next & she has started asking for whatever that might be.
