“family fun day”…

yesterday, sunday Nov. 4, 2012 was “family fun day” at the zoo. they opened their doors for families to get in for free ALL DAY as a thank you for breaking their record of number of visitors in a season & what an awesome thing for them to do because it is nearly impossible for “normal” families like ours to go out & do anything as a family because everything has become so expensive. there were so many families there taking advantage of the chance to do something fun as a family & that is so cool!! when we got there it was perfect, busy but not too overly crowded but then by the time we left, it was swarming with people & there was a line to get anywhere. when we left we all decided that our favorite exhibit was the humans. except for sophia, her favorite was definately the petting zoo…

that grey one that she loved tried to get away from her but she saw him & chased him down…

she started out very timid with them & didn’t want to leave my side but she kept getting braver & braver until she was a little too comftorable with them…
