so I have not been able to write or post anything here for a few weeks & that was awful. I missed it.
I am still learning about megabytes & gigabytes (is that a word??) & band-with & virtual internet blog storage space that just seems to float up in the air somewhere. I don’t know. all I do know is that I finally purchased more space for this blog & it is worth every penny for me… this space, this little blog is priceless to me.
so I figured I would just throw the last month all into one post. except of course for mikayla’s birthday. I have about a trillion pictures I am still going thru. ha.
we went to the zoo with grammy. as soon as we walked in we had to make a dash for the goats because that is all Sophia wanted to see. life is so simple when you are three!!
we went on after dinner walks…
Sophia & I both got very sick. like, we haven’t been this sick, ever. it was a long 10 days…
we went & got ourselves a baby beta fish to keep us occupied while we were quarantined to the house. her name is princess fish. of course…
we slowly started to feel better & the sun came out…
we look up & find grace. we say a silent prayer…
we go to little junk fairs on a whim, ride the pony 3,000 times & come home with a $4.00 homemade, old, junky kids kitchen & we are both so, so excited about it…
meme & papa come get Sophia for ice cream & convertible rides. Sophia, I asked you if you wanted me to put your hair back & you said “no mama, I like to feel the wind in my hair” & that pretty much made my day…
we went to get mikayla’s ears pierced & they couldn’t do it so she spent her gift card on “sister necklaces” & you were such a happy girl…
you asked me for days to put the t.v. in the corner & I could not figure out why you kept asking me that. I just kept saying no, that is silly. finally you got pretty frustrated, you grabbed me by the hand, took me downstairs, showed me the teepee & I finally realized you were asking for the teepee in the corner of the living room, not the t.v… we both laughed & brought the teepee upstairs…
we chase butterflies in the back yard with rainbows…
we sing “row row row your boat” in the car & you think it is super funny to change the words to “row row row your fart” & you cackle laugh everytime you say it. seriously girl, you crack me up!!
we go for walks out at lake chalco & you inspire me…
we make silly videos…
this one was back in February but I never got it off my ipad & onto this blog & it has to be here. my sweet girl, singing the mommy song…
you get ahold of my ipad & leave me gems like this one…
we went to a bbq at kim & dave’s when jim, grammy Mary’s brother, came to town with his wife Teri & my cousin Michelle. it was hard. everyone was gathered to see uncle Doug & spend some time with him. he is so sick. the ALS has taken over so quickly & it is just heart breaking to see him & aunt karen & the kids go thru this… I really don’t know what to say about this except for that we love you so much uncle doug.
so happy the kids could be together & see everyone & meet my uncle Jim. they spent most of the night jumping on the trampoline & that is just fine with me. I know it probably doesn’t really sink in or make sense when you are a teenager. it doesn’t really make any sense to me…
I made a fun video for mik’s birthday from our photo shoot. I can not believe she is 16 & I cant wait to share these photos when I am finished with them… you so fancy girl.
Sophia & Mikayla make up ridiculous dances & we all laugh the whole time & I hope they both always remember these times…
our april. some of it.
these are the days…
